Move your mic closer (6-12 inches), enable OBS noise suppression, and verify your source language in the StreamTranslate control panel is correct.
Your internet briefly disconnected. StreamTranslate auto-reconnects. If it doesn't, right-click the browser source in OBS and select Refresh.

This may indicate audio dropouts. Check for USB microphone power issues, improve your internet connection, or reduce OBS encoding load.
Verify your source language setting in the StreamTranslate control panel matches the language you're speaking. Reload the browser source after changing settings.
The most common cause is the browser source not being active in your current OBS scene. Check that the StreamTranslate browser source is visible and in the correct scene.
Inaccurate captions are usually caused by a noisy audio environment, microphone positioned too far away, or incorrect source language setting. Check your audio setup and control panel settings.
If captions are significantly delayed (more than 1 second), check your internet connection speed. StreamTranslate requires a stable broadband connection for sub-300ms caption latency.
A brief internet interruption can pause captions. StreamTranslate will reconnect automatically. If captions don't resume, refresh the browser source in OBS by right-clicking it and selecting Interact > Refresh.
Make sure your microphone is set as the default input device in your operating system's audio settings. StreamTranslate captures the default system microphone from the browser.
