Twitch captions, chosen by each viewer

Supply your stream’s audio once. Viewers open the StreamTranslate extension in the Twitch player and choose their own caption language.

Set it up

  1. Install and activate the StreamTranslate Twitch extension on your channel.
  2. Open its Configure panel in Twitch and link your account.
  3. Open Twitch setup. Use your browser microphone or connect your OBS or IRL audio.
  4. Check the preview, then go live.

What viewers control

Viewers choose a language, adjust caption size and colors, and tune caption timing. These choices affect their own view.

Extension captions are separate from your video. They are not burned into the broadcast or its recording.
