Keep the conversation, add another language

A video podcast can reach listeners who prefer reading a different language. StreamTranslate adds translated subtitles to the recording while keeping the original audio. It does not dub the hosts’ voices or generate a new podcast episode.

Prepare a clear recording

Upload a supported video file with audible speech. Close microphones and balanced speaker levels help the transcription process. Overlapping guests, strong room echo and music under dialogue can produce mistakes that need review.

Choose tracks for your audience

Use up to three subtitle tracks: for example, the original language plus two translations. Choose from 60 supported languages, position the text below the speakers where possible and avoid covering lower-third names. You can customize subtitle appearance in the workspace.

Plan episode length and cost

The translator supports video segments up to 24 hours. Pricing is $0.20 per minute with a $0.50 minimum; a 30-minute segment has a base price of $6 before any checkout adjustments. Choose the relevant segment if you only need one discussion or interview excerpt.

How to get started

  1. Upload the video podcast file, then choose the episode or segment duration.
  2. Select the spoken language and up to three subtitle tracks; adjust text position and style.
  3. Check the quote, pay for the video job and review the finished subtitles before publishing.

Video translation is an AI process; review the output before publication. Upload files rather than assuming a public URL can be imported. Completed results remain downloadable for up to seven days. Check the quote before checkout.

Common questions

Does it translate an audio-only podcast file?

This page describes the video-upload workflow. Use a supported video recording with audio rather than assuming an audio-only feed can be imported.

Does it identify every speaker by name?

No. Do not assume the subtitles automatically label each speaker or correctly recognize all names.

Can I translate just a short podcast excerpt?

Yes. Choose the segment you want to process and check its quote before checkout.
