Test the words you actually say

Use the same microphone, source language and short script for each tool. Include your name, a technical term, a quiet phrase and a normal conversational sentence. Listen for audio dropouts and read the resulting text.

LiveStreamCC documents speaker labels and dual microphone/PC audio on its broadcaster plans in its feature guide. If those matter to your show, test them directly. This comparison does not contain a measured speed or accuracy benchmark, and a tool’s claimed latency does not establish what your audience will see.

Try the StreamTranslate setup

  1. Choose your languages

Open Control, set the spoken and subtitle languages, then copy your Browser Source URL.

  2. Add the overlay

In OBS or Streamlabs, add a Browser Source and paste the full URL. Match your canvas dimensions and put it above the video sources.

  3. Run a rehearsal

Select Audio Source, run Mic check and press GO LIVE in Control. Keep Control open for browser-microphone mode. Record a short local sample before starting your broadcast.

Keep the output you need

A Browser Source composites captions into the video, so viewers on each broadcast destination see the same chosen text. A Twitch extension is a separate Twitch viewing experience. Native player CC uses its own caption track and controls.

Pick LiveStreamCC when its desktop viewing or transcript workflow fits your needs. Pick StreamTranslate when your priority is translated broadcast captions and its Twitch setup. Try the actual language pair and scene layout before paying for longer sessions.
