Find a missing video translation request
If a StreamTranslate video reply has not appeared, first search the Clips queue using your request link or post ID. A request may still be undiscovered, waiting for capacity, processing or already delivered. Those states mean different things; a missing X notification does not prove the video failed.
Check the request and original video
Make sure your reply mentions @StreamTranslate and names the language you want. A clear request such as the one below is sufficient; there is no special wording you must memorize.
@StreamTranslate translate this to TurkishReply directly to the public post containing the video when possible. Check that the original video still plays and has not been deleted or made private. A conversation about a video, a quoted link or an external website is not always equivalent to an available video attached to the post.
Read the queue stage
- Queued: the request is waiting for processing capacity.
- In progress: the video is being prepared, transcribed, translated, rendered or delivered.
- Delivered: a reply has been posted; follow its link to watch.
Open the queue and search by request link or post ID. Discovery is not instantaneous. There is no fixed completion-time guarantee: length, current demand, media availability and API limits can all affect the wait. Avoid repeatedly posting the same request while an earlier one is still processing.
Check language and video limits
The Clips page shows current supported source and caption languages and video limits. The language you ask for is the output language; the spoken language is detected from the recording. A clip with unclear speech, music or multiple speakers may be harder to recognize than a clean recording.
A failed or unsupported request is not proof that the original video has no speech. It can also reflect access restrictions, service capacity, API limits or a processing error. For recordings that do not fit the X workflow, the separate video uploader may be a better option.
Find a delivered reply or ask for help
If the queue says delivered, open its reply link rather than waiting only for a notification. X notifications may arrive later than the post itself. You can also open the conversation under your original request.
If the request remains missing or fails, send its public URL to [email protected]. Include the requested language and what you see in the queue. Do not send passwords, API keys or private account tokens. See Clips documentation and Clips privacy for more help and removal information.
