VTubers Are a Global Phenomenon

VTubing originated in Japan but now has dedicated communities in the US, Korea, Brazil, and beyond. Many of the biggest VTubers have fans who speak completely different languages from their streamers. StreamTranslate bridges that gap automatically.

  • Japanese VTubers can add English subtitles to reach EN audiences
  • English VTubers can add Japanese, Korean, or Spanish subtitles
  • Subtitles appear over your VTuber avatar without disrupting the layout
  • Works with all major Live2D and 3D VTuber setups via OBS

VTuber-Friendly Setup

VTubers use OBS for their avatar rendering and scene composition. Since StreamTranslate is also an OBS browser source, integrating it into your VTuber scene is seamless.

  • Add subtitle overlay on top of or below your avatar window
  • Fully customizable position, font, and style to match your aesthetic
  • Works with VTube Studio, vnyanpet, and any OBS-based avatar setup
  • No microphone reconfiguration needed — StreamTranslate listens to your desktop audio

Grow Your VTuber Community

The EN VTuber market is large, but the international VTuber market is even larger. Adding translated subtitles lets you build dedicated fan communities across language barriers.

  • Japanese EN VTubers with English subtitles see 2-3x higher clip shares
  • Spanish-speaking VTuber fans are a fast-growing audience on Twitch and YouTube
  • Korean clips go viral on platforms where your native language gets overlooked
  • Dual subtitles on Pro plan: show both EN and JP simultaneously
