Why Add Portuguese Subtitles?
Brazil is the #2 Twitch market by active viewers — over 12M Brazilian viewers on Twitch. Most of these viewers watch English-language streams without understanding everything being said. Adding Portuguese subtitles removes that barrier completely — they hear you, read along in Portuguese, and engage in chat as full community members.
Streamers who add translated subtitles consistently report higher chat engagement from international viewers, longer watch times, and growth in international follows within the first few weeks.
