Akkadu provides Twitch captions but lacks the multi-platform support and language depth that streamers need to reach international audiences. StreamTranslate works on every streaming platform with 65 languages out of the box.

Akkadu focuses primarily on Twitch. If you stream only on Twitch and only need English captions, Akkadu can work. But streamers increasingly multistream to Twitch + YouTube Live + Kick + TikTok simultaneously — and need ONE solution that handles all of them.
StreamTranslate is platform-agnostic. The OBS browser source overlay appears on whatever platform you stream to. One setup, every platform.
Real audience reach comes from supporting the languages where streamer growth happens — Japanese (VTuber market), Korean (Twitch KR + Chzzk), Spanish (LATAM), Portuguese (Brazil), Arabic (MENA growth), Hindi (Indian streaming boom). StreamTranslate covers 65 languages including all of these.
