Restream multistreaming to multiple platforms? Add real-time translated subtitles in 30+ languages so every destination (Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, X, Kick) shows subs simultaneously. Here's the right setup path.
Start Translating Free → No credit card · 30+ languages · Works with RestreamRestream itself is a multistreaming relay — it takes your video and pushes it to multiple destinations, but the relay layer doesn't render overlays. To get translated subtitles into a Restream multistream, you bake them in BEFORE Restream sees the video.
The clean approach: run OBS Studio (or Streamlabs, vMix, etc.) on your computer. Add StreamTranslate as a Browser Source in OBS. Set OBS's stream output target to your Restream RTMP ingest URL. When you hit Go Live in OBS, the video — subtitles already composited — goes to Restream, which then fans it out to every connected destination. Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live, X, Kick, LinkedIn Live, Trovo — they all see the same subtitled stream.
If you use Restream Studio (their browser-based studio, no desktop encoder), there's a workaround: Restream Studio currently doesn't support arbitrary browser source URLs. You'd need to switch to OBS + Restream relay for StreamTranslate to work. We're actively working on a direct Restream Studio integration — sign up for updates.
1) Install OBS Studio. 2) Sign up at streamtranslate.live → get your overlay URL. 3) In OBS, add Browser Source → paste StreamTranslate URL → position at bottom. 4) In OBS Settings → Stream → set Server to Restream's RTMP URL and paste your Restream Stream Key. 5) Go Live in OBS. Restream fans the subtitled stream to all your connected destinations.
